Maid Of Silk has fair form at a lowly level under NH Rules but is an unknown quantity on the level and has to concede nearly a stone to three younger rivals. End Of May hasn't been seen since finishing last of nine in a Salisbury maiden for Rebecca Curtis over a year ago which leaves us with Caphira and Adeste, both of who have shown promise in average maiden company. The vote is awarded to ADESTE as she's already proved her ability to handle soft ground when going close behind Star Deal at Redcar last time, whilst her previous Newmarket fifth behind Pink Damsel reads particularly well in the context of this modest affair. Caphira has yet to face turf after making a solid Lingfield polytrack debut prior to a rather low-key Kempton effort latest.
