Verdict
ALFIE SPINNER failed to figure in the Midlands Grand National at Uttoxeter last month but was runner-up in the Welsh Grand National before that and will go close in this company with a similar effort. Ballycross has a shout on collateral form with the selection while Behind Time won at Uttoxeter on his penultimate start and can be forgiven his latest run as the saddle slipped. Horatio Hornblower has gone close off today’s mark since winning at Newbury in January and Pressurize drops in class but Misty Mai will find this tougher than the chase she won at Market Rasen earlier in the year.
