In depth

Verdict

Lickpenny Larry opened his account over fences with a victory in a novices’ handicap at Plumpton. But he faces tougher opposition in this including VICENZO MIO, who finished a creditable fourth at Chepstow recently and has Harry Reed taking 5lb of his back today. Lightentertainment failed to cope with a 9lb rise for winning at Lingfield when well beaten in third last time but Gone Platinum slips further down the weights and Spock is back on a winning mark.
