Verdict

Nicky Henderson has unearthed a strong opportunity for THE CASHEL MAN to break his run of second places and land a first success over timber. A useful winning stayer on the Flat for David Simcock, he should prove more than good enough, although there is a slight concern that he's not the most resolute in a battle. Norwegian Woods has shown little in two starts under Rules since winning a point and winning Flat performer Volturnus now has a first run for the Sherwood team after hitherto showing little or no form hurdling. Carpool needs to improve so Diamond Reggie, quite interesting last time when staying on late, looks the likeliest danger.
