SECRET TUNE can defy topweight to see off Pepporoni Pete and Treaty Flyer. Tom George looks set for a decent season this year and while his charge has to give weight all around, he looked useful last term. Second in the Scottish Champion Hurdle, he sets a stiff standard for the remainder. Pepporoni Pete has been a credit to connections having won yet another race in spite of his ailments. He is in receipt of lumps of weight today and should run well despite his high handicap mark. Treaty Flyer has been a fine talisman for Alison Thorpe's training skills and with back to back successes last month; he couldn't be heading for this race in better order. Any overnight rain would be a big help to the chances of Oldrik. Spanish Conquest looked a very progressive novice last term and can be forgiven a below par run at Sandown as it had followed a number of races within a short space of time. Dancewiththedevil has shown plenty of improvement over the calendar year and it is perfectly conceivable that he could go on from his recent Stratford success. Secret Tune looks worth playing at the likely odds.
