Official ratings suggest The Rainbow Hunter is the one to beat here but Andy Turnell's seven-year-old had a very hard race when last of 12 finishers in a Grade 3 handicap at the Cheltenham Festival and it remains to be seen if that effort has left its mark. Stablemate Gotoyourplay should improve on his debut under Rules, however, while Ballyvesey will be all the better for last month's fourth at Huntingdon. But we'll take a chance on COLD HARBOUR, who goes particularly well at this track and didn't act on the sharper course at Stratford last time. He could get his own way out in front today and will probably be allowed to start at decent odds.
