Jac Brown has placed twice here but has been running over longer trips in handicaps. While his proven stamina could be an asset under today’s conditions, others are less exposed. Minella Beauty was third on his hurdles bow at Fontwell and Do Your Job was second over 2m4f at Newbury in February, though was beaten 15 lengths. TRUCKERS PASS started favourite for both bumper runs but found one too good on each occasion. His apparent lack of pace will not be as noticeable over hurdles and he’ll handle this going so gets the nod. Winning pointer Brooksway Fair may be best of the rest.
