In depth

Verdict

Dalavar has finished second at Wincanton and Kempton in his last two starts and will be fancied to go one better here but KEEP KICKING may be the answer to this. There have been definite signs of promise over hurdles and he's been performing with credit on the Flat since landing a jumpers' bumper at Kempton in January. Peter Bowen runs Ballybough Gorta, who will be back over fences soon, and Ludlow third Kanturk while Call Me Sir won at Newton Abbot in April but has struggled off today's higher mark in the past.
