Verdict
Pancake has ability but has two ways of running and will almost certainly need this. Stable companion Timetoring was third in a better race here last month but still beaten more than 50 lengths while Pacha D'Oudairies doesn't win very often, though is usually thereabouts at this level. Bonoman won over 2m here in November but has won twice over this longer trip between the flags and has to go on the short-list while Billybo won a small race at Towcester before finishing second at Fontwell, though was beaten a long way. THE LAST BRIDGE came good over hurdles at Taunton last month under Richard Johnson, who takes the ride as the gelding tries fences again for the first time since pulling up at Ludlow in November. If jumping better, he's well handicapped so gets a tentative vote.
