St Mary's has been well beaten in a couple of starts since scoring over 1m4f at Chester in May and thus will be his first try over a trio this far. Receiving weight from all bar the modest Kaisan, ROLLING MAUL has to be the selection. A useful staying hurdler who has also won bumpers and over fences, the nine-year-old had the speed to make a belated winning debut on the Flat over 1m3f at Bath and makes more appeal than Norab and Spice Fair, third and fourth respectively behind Authorized Too over course and distance last week.
