In depth

Verdict

Chepstow winner Spic 'n Span may be worth opposing under a 6lb penalty as THE JAILER, who finished third in that race, was only beaten a length-and-a-quarter and has already won twice at this fledgling track. John O'Shea's veteran gets the nod with Willie Twiston-Davies claiming 7lb. Dotty Darroch often makes the frame but doesn't win very often and is still 5lb higher than when successful at Hamilton at the start of May. The others are hard to fancy, though Verus Delicia may improve for a comeback run at Chepstow.
