In depth

Verdict

Kristallo is a rare runner on the level for Peter Bowen but hasn't been seen since finishing tailed off over hurdles at Huntingdon in November. More interesting is TALLULAH MAI, who won on soft ground at Leicester last month and was far from disgraced in a better race at Doncaster subsequently. She can bounce back here over the longer trip though Pahente appeared to be improving prior to a modest effort at Bath. Maggie Aron was still beaten 17 lengths despite finishing third at Chepstow last time and Spinning Waters is much better when he has a set of hurdles to jump.
