Cold Turkey, Stocking Island and Lysander are the three to consider here, and preference is for Lysander. Lysander followed up a very promising fourth on his debut by chasing home the classy Alfred The Great at Kelso with a number of well touted rivals behind. That was an excellent run and he looks sure to be hard to beat. Cold Turkey saddles a penalty here after a game win at Plumpton and is hard to discount. The third home that day, Armariver, has advertised the form since and Cold Turkey has won on the Flat since. Stocking Island may come out on top though. A decent maiden on the Flat, Stocking Island has come up against some useful types in Craven and Harringay but has shaped well. This is competitive but Lysander can advertise the claims of Alfred The Great by taking this.
