In depth

Verdict

Salinas gets the confident vote here with Leopold and Art Virginia rating the main dangers. The selection was a good second behind Incorporation under similar conditions last time out, looks sure to have the race run to suit and off the same mark here he will be hard to beat. Leopold rates the main danger on his latest second behind Red Scally, he looks sure to be suited by the drop in trip but he looks the stables second string on jockey bookings and is taken on with this in mind. Art Virginia is another that could go well on his latest third behind Romany Dream but this looks tougher and he now looks in the handicappers grip. Of the remainder Toni Alcala has conditions to suit and could go well at a price while Day du Roy travels well in his races but finds little off the bridle and for the winner we return to Salinas who has plenty going for him today.
