Verdict

Bold Investor, Mick Devine and Dickens are the three to watch in the finale with the vote going to the last named. Coming from a yard very much in form at present Dickens ran well on his seasonal reappearance when finishing third around course and distance. He is entitled to come on for the run and if doing so will take some beating. Bold Investor is visored for the first time after some poor efforts. In his prime he has won his fair share or races and if the visors set him alight then he could enter calculations. Mick Devine is yet to win after fifteen runs but ran well to finish second of seven at Taunton last time out. That was his personal best to date and he still needs to improve to figure. So for the winner we return to Dickens.
