In depth

Verdict

Going left-handed again, Plumpton specialist BEAUFORT WEST could go well in a race like this having tumbled down the ratings. Edison Kent is just 1-18 and is one-paced but The Wise Traveller made all under Bradley Roberts at Huntingdon last month and Wincanton second William Ewart is back over a more suitable trip. Hillfinch was just beaten off this mark at Southwell in the spring and Plumpton second Copshill Lad will be thereabouts if lasting home but Tiny Tantrum may need this run.
