Verdict

Eceparti’s yard is still in great form but he will have to defy a further 8lb rise if he is to complete the hat-trick and he’s never raced over a trip this far. Wake Up Early, Le Tueur and Lord Sparky are all previous course and distance winners, however, while Bretney was caught right on the line at Kelso last month. Gold Clermont has had a pipe-opener over hurdles but this stamina test should suit KADEX, who is among the least exposed. Ffos Las runner-up Invictus Allen is another who has plenty of scope.
