Verdict

VIKING RUBY has the best recent form having gone close at Wincanton last month before scoring at Taunton. She’s raised 7lb but looks on the upgrade and it could pay to stick with Neil Mulholland’s mare. Both Taras Day and Quasha failed to build on earlier good efforts when well beaten last time though the latter drops down a grade for this and may prove the biggest threat. Perfect Moment faded badly in the closing stages at Plumpton back in May but makes more appeal on her reappearance than the remaining pair.
