Henry Daly has won two of the last three renewals but Black Tulip was still well beaten when third at Stratford on her return to action. CHEQUERED VIEW makes more appeal having won at Worcester before finding only one too good in a higher grade chase at Hereford when finishing clear of the rest. She can return to winning ways with a conditional’s allowance helping her cause. Carnspindle and Ratoute Yutty are both struggling at present and are best watched for now.
