    Verdict

No surprise that Richard Johnson rides May’s easy Huntingdon winner MON PORT in preference to stablemates We've Got Payet and Let's Get At It. His mount carries a penalty but that should be no barrier to a second success over timber. Bagan has shown a glimmer of ability in bumpers but all-weather winner Fearsome, who should have learned from his hurdles bow at Warwick, is more interesting for forecast purposes as it’s a long time since Tenor showed any worthwhile form.
