      In depth

      Verdict

CONQUISTO was capable on the flat, racing off a mark as high as 91 at his best and made a pleasing debut over hurdles when chasing home Troubletimestwo at Doncaster earlier this month and he can go one better today with the main dangers rated as Kinsya and King of Rhythm. Declan Carroll's gelding ran better than expected on his hurdling debut at Huntingdon earlier this month when sent off at 80/1 and he has to be considered but needs to improve to beat the selection. We're Delighted looked beaten before unseating his rider at Doncaster last time, while Neil King's Chalice Welcome has yet to show any worthwhile form over timber but cannot be ruled out having been going well on the flat of late. Highland River was well held on his return to hurdles at Bangor last time and of more interest may be the Mark Tompkins-trained Kinsya, who takes a drop in class having run in better races than this at Southwell and Newbury of late. Conquisto has solid claims following his first effort at Doncaster though and is hard to oppose.
