Verdict

Only four runners go to post for this handicap chase and all would have chances on their best form, but we will give the vote to the Lucy Wadham-trained Bound. The selection was unsuited by the soft ground when unshipping last time out behind the well-regarded Kadount. But prior to that he had finished a good third behind Made In Japan and with conditions to suit he is taken to get his head in front. No Need For Alarm rates the main danger on her best form but she remains far from fluent over the obstacles and although she has everything in her favour, she can not be put forward with any confidence as she is not the most consistent. Dabus is also worthy of respect on his latest third behind Sands Rising but his best form is when he is allowed to dominate, and he is unlikely to get that luxury here. Emperors Guest looks weighted up to his best and is out of form and he looks vulnerable in this tight affair, and we will stick with Bound as our idea of the winner.
