Jazz du Forez, Benefit and New Perk are the three to concentrate on here and the vote is given to Jazz du Forez. The selection walked over last time and although he has a penalty for that success, his previous effort when third behind Leith Hill Star reads well in the context of this race, and with conditions to suit he will be hard to beat. Benefit is well-weighted on his best form but he has been out of sorts of late and for that reason he is hard to put forward with any confidence. New Perk was pulled-up last time but he had previously finished a fair second behind the well-handicapped Atticus Finch and if he could reproduce that effort here he would not be far away. This is an extremely modest affair which will not take much winning, and for the winner we return to Jazz du Forez, who at least is in form.
