There are plenty in with chances in the seller, including Perfect Venue, Ehab, Jayed, Penalty Clause, Wally Wonder, Norton Sapphire and, maybe, Wyoming, with the vote going to Monsal Dale. It is interesting that Jayed, who is set for a three-pounds rise in the ratings, was three-quarters-of-a-length behind Perfect Venue over course and distance two runs ago, and they meet on the same terms today. Furthermore, Monsal Dale is only three pounds worse off for the seven lengths he finished in front of Jayed when they met at Ludlow recently. The upshot of this is that, if Monsal Dale runs to the level of form he showed at Ludlow, he should go well. Ehab also has a chance as he was placed at Fontwell in May from a four-pound higher mark than today, but much as Penalty Clause won from a seven-pound higher mark than today at Doncaster in December 2003, he has not been going so well lately. Wally Wonder must also be considered as he returns to selling level after two runs outside of it, while Norton Sapphire ha claims based on his Leicester November. Finally, market moves for Wyoming or Yeoman Lad could be interesting but, for today, we will tentatively side with Monsal Dale.
