In depth

Verdict

Stroom Bank gets the confident vote here with Beau Torero and Mystic Glen rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair second behind Go For One last time out, that form has since been franked and with the fitting of first time blinkers and the drop in trip likely to bring about improvement he is hard to oppose. Beau Torero rates the main danger on his latest second behind Gypsy Cricketer but consistency is not his strong point so he cannot be put forward with any confidence. Mystic Glen was a staying-on third behind Emerald Destiny last time and has definite place claims but the drop in trip has to be of concern. Of the remainder, Eleazar is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he looks weighted up to his best and for the winner we return to Stroom Bank.
