In depth

Verdict

Dom d'Orgeval is impossible to oppose in this beginners chase with Back For The Craic and Worlaby Dale rating the main dangers. The selection was the best of these over hurdles and was a good third behind Inglish Drever when last seen in that sphere. He is sure to have been well schooled for this his chasing debut and he is taken to score on his first run for David Pipe. Back For The Craic rates the main danger on his latest second behind Il Duce but that form has since been let down and his overall profile leaves him with plenty to find. Worlaby Dale ran well after a long absence last time and is sure to improve but he will need to do so to defeat the selection. The remainder have been woefully out of form of late and cannot be put forward with any confidence and for the winner we return to Dom d'Orgeval who is taken to win this before going on to better things.
