Verdict

Shepherds Rest has been a grand servant, but hasn't always been one to trust and will need to put behind him a poor effort at Ludlow last time. Skycab, a useful handicapper at his best, has yet to convince in his two outings this year and looks best watched for now, while Harvis has yet to prove he stays this far, so the TEAMtalk choice is Easton Gale, who impressed when winner here last month. A 6lb rise in the handicap looks fair enough and he is the one to beat.
