      Verdict

      This looks a match between Good Man Again and Maryscross and the vote is given to Maryscross. The selection was a fair third behind Canada Street in a similar race last time out. That form looks solid in the context of this race and under similar conditions here he is taken to score. Good Man Again rates the main danger on his best form but he has been let down by his jumping of late over fences and it is debatable weather he will have enough toe for this his return to hurdles and is opposable on that basis. Hermano Cordobes has shown a modicum of ability in three runs to date and should be noted in the market as at least he has scope for some improvement. Of the remainder Water Pistol and Bourneagainkristen have had plenty of chances in similar races without taking one and in a race where the market will be very informative for the winner we return to Maryscross.
