Verdict

This looks a bit better than the usual run-of-the-mill mares' maiden bumpers. Irish points winner Katiebyrne ran better than expected on her debut under Rules at Kempton but is already crying out for further. Actinpieces and Kayla are open to plenty of improvement while Mystic Sky has been quite highly tried in a couple of runs at Newbury and should find this easier. MILANESE QUEEN is a half-sister to useful hurdler/chasers Pires and Royal Player and out of Milan so shouldn't lack for speed. She can make a winning start ahead of fellow newcomers Midtech Valentine and Moonshine Ridge.
