      Verdict

      UNO MAS is fully deserving of a step up in grade as he was won five of his last seven starts, two of them around here. He has relished the step up to 3m but a further 8lb rise will it much tougher today, even though he still getting 19lb from Canyon City. The top weight has also won around here this season and was only beaten half-a-length behind the in-form Erik Le Rouge last time at Kempton, though this will be his first try over the trip. Sir Mangan isn’t badly treated and a switch back to hurdles could offer him some respite and Wind Place And Sho was going well before a suspect temperament resurfaced at Huntingdon. Kilbrew Boy is preferred to Oxford Blu of the others.
