Verdict

Irish bumper winner Largy Ray ran out on his hurdling debut while ROGER POL, another bumper winner, found one too good when favourite at Newton Abbot. However, the latter lost a shoe that day so can probably be given another chance. Borodale will need to settle better than at Uttoxeter but Nicky Henderson's mare Call The Dance is interesting as she is a half-sister to six winning jumpers and has already won a Southwell bumper. Bangor third Wise Guy and Market Rasen runner-up Hiero Sport add to the interest.
