Artifice Sivola has a decent strike-rate over fences and hurdles and is the only previous course winner in this. He’s chasing a hat-trick over the smaller obstacles but hasn’t appeared to get home over this longer trip in the past. MARQUIS OF CARABAS (NAP) is getting little respite from the handicapper but it was a better race in which he finished a close-up third at Doncaster last month and Zac Baker’s claim will aid his cause. Ossie's Dancer has a long absence to overcome but is fairly treated on his comeback. Bach De Clermont still has scope but Counterfeiter has flattered to deceive so far over timber.
