In depth

Verdict

Gordon Elliott and Lisa O'Neill form a formidable partnership and Braeside will attract attention on his handicap debut and his three runs over fences have been against strong opposition. Halsafari has been in very good form over hurdles but was also performing with credit in better races than this at the beginning of the year. Kavanaghs Corner has won four times over fences and ran well over a trip too short on his return to action while Hoke Colburn arrives in solid form and will enjoy the conditions. Winning point-to-pointer and Bumper SCULLY'S DREAM has yet to score over regulation fences but this could be his day as he looks well enough treated while Just A Normal Day would have to be respected on his victory in a better race than this at Kilbeggan last August.
