In depth

Verdict

APRES TOI, by Frankel out of a Group 3 winner, cost 270,000gns and made a fair start at Leopardstown so gets the nod in an interesting maiden. Haziya finished in front of Ulster Blackwater on the latter track but already had a run under her belt and Joseph O'Brien's filly can reverse the form. The Blue Brilliant made a promising debut at Gowran and though unable to cope with Party House at Naas next time should make further progress and get into contention. Rosscarbery has had her chances and looks vulnerable.
