In depth

Verdict

The market will help with the newcomers but best to focus on those with experience. This isn't a regular hunting ground for the Varian team but SUPER CUB represents the yard on the back of a pleasing debut at Salisbury, staying on steadily in the closing stages and looking sure to benefit appreciably for the run. Marco Ghiani is fine value for his claim, having an excellent season and the combination can strike now, Bolton Abbey and Noble Albert have both shown enough to suggest they can pick up an ordinary contest and Chanteiro will surely prove better in time than his disappointing debut effort when last of eight.
