Verdict
Emperor Bob was a 25/1 chance when making a successful debut at Dundalk in December but there was no fluke about the victory and the pair who followed him home have won subsequently. Hunt's narrow defeat by Success Days at Gowran in August has been boosted by the Group 3 victories of the winner though Johnny Murtagh's charge had to scramble for victory on his reappearance at Dundalk. Penny Pepper made a successful return to action at the Curragh before beaten by The Happy Prince in a tough Naas handicap. Ardhoomey has been in the lead at this trip in his last two starts before fading over an extra furlong and the expected quick ground is in his favour. Leading Actress found a mile much too far at Dundalk but a line through Ortiga, who was just beaten by Hunt at Dundalk, gives MORSELLE a fighting chance of completing a double here and she looks the type to have come on plenty for the run.
