Verdict

GRINGO D'AUBRELLE chased home Blazing Khal at Galway and the winner went on to land a Grade 2. Gordon Elliott's charge then won a Navan bumper by ten lengths and looks a very smart recruit. Willie Mullins brought Braganza back from a four-year absence to score at Thurles on Thursday so the fact that Adamantly Chosen hasn't run since landing a Punchestown bumper in August carries no significance. Harald Hardrad returned from a long break to easily land a Clonmel bumper and jumping should be his game while Mind Your Money managed to win a Tramore bumper but disappointed over timber at Cork. The selection's stable companion Ash Tree Meadow went for £135,000 after scoring on the point-to-point course here in April.
