HATCH HALL won a Cork maiden in October then scored twice at Dundalk. An opening handicap mark over hurdles of 109 looks manageable providing the ground doesn't get too soft. Next Bend was unlucky at Leopardstown in December when his saddle slipped and made no mistake in a Wexford maiden 10 days ago when he was impressive. He looks a threat while the ultra-consistent Mighty Concorde looks certain to win before long after another fine run behind Blazer at Leopardstown. Mount Beckham showed his liking for this trip when scoring at Down Royal and there's more to come but Angus Milan would be suited by further rain as his two victories have come on heavy ground.
