Grade 1 races for mares only are rare which is why Willie Mullins, who won this with Annie Power in 2013, has four entries and Harry Fry sends JESSBER'S DREAM from the UK. The latter made all for a very convincing victory in a Sandown Grade 2 over this trip last month and though beaten fair and square by the champion trainer's Myska over the minimum at Taunton in December can take her revenge. The winner finished last in a Listed event at Punchestown in January but was found to be coughing post-race and is obviously much better than that. The surprise here is that Ruby Walsh has elected to ride Asthuria, who has had just two runs in France with the latest just over a year ago, so she must be considered up to this class. The four-year-old Jer's Girl, a Listed winner at Aintree and beaten just a head in a Leopardstown Grade 2, found Footpad too much to handle back there last month while Cashelard Lady had no answer to Limini here in January though that was no disgrace.
