Verdict

Darasso won this Gowran feature very easily in 2019 and finished second behind the long odds-on Cilaos Emery a year ago. He'd been tackling fences before finding 3m beyond him in a Grade 2 here last month and should make a bold bid to regain his crown. PETIT MOUCHOIR, a dual Grade 1 winner in the past, hasn't won since scoring over fences in October 2017. But he's consistently competed with credit at the highest level and, with race conditions very much in his favour, can get back to winning ways. Sixshooter has been placed in two Grade 3' races since scoring at Punchestown in October, though has a bit more to do, but Jason The Militant ran a superb race when beaten less than a length in the Grade 1 Morgiana and a repeat would put him in the firing-line. The remaining pair look outclassed.
