In depth

Verdict

Nina Carberry's presence on board Royal Sam suggests the winning point-to-pointer is fancied and her mount produced a good run after a long break at Navan last month. YOU MUST KNOW ME has joined Henry De Bromhead after his comfortable success at Tallow and, as his dam was a winning bumper, he should have enough pace to score on his debut under Rules. A New Day was beaten a long way into second by The Mighty Milan at Punchestown but he had much better fancied rivals behind and it was a very good effort. Paul Nolan's newcomer What A Story is bred to be a staying chaser and will no doubt do better with a set of obstacles to jump.
