Verdict

Mossey Joe has been one of the mainstays of the Irish hunter chase scene for a number of years which is why he's penalised as he has won half of his 14 races over regulation fences and three point-to-points. He was unlucky to unship his rider at Leopardstown two weeks ago but faces a stiff task here. Carsonstown Boy is currently a 25/1 chance for the Foxhunter at Cheltenham, the race he was beaten around 3l by Tammys Hill in last year. He's had a light campaign subsequently but his astute trainer will have him close to his best now and he has to be a threat. Adrian Maguire looks to have a brilliant prospect in this sphere in TWO ROCKERS (NAP). He's also in the Foxhunter where he's a 10/1 chance but those odds will shrink if he's impressive here. He unseated his rider when attempting a point-to-point four-timer at Dungarven last month but had earlier beaten Last Time D'Albain 10l at Dromahane and doesn't look to have much worry about from the latter, though he's since won convincingly at Kilfeacle.
