In depth

Verdict

Avichi has now been a beaten favourite on all four starts but hasn't run badly and came up against a useful type in Exactoris last time. That winner is trained by Aidan O'Brien who has the well-connected newcomer Delayed Eloquence engaged here while Stuart Crawford's Cherry Bomb made a very pleasing start at Navan where she didn't get the hang of things until the latter stages. COMMERAGH TRIX was a 33/1 chance on her debut in heavy ground at Cork but very nearly snatched the spoils with a powerful late thrust. Her stable is in fine form and this looks a good opportunity to go one better. Dandy Bridge showed some potential in soft ground at Naas and will be better for the experience while Bestow is related to numerous winners and is one to note in the market.
