Verdict

ROI DES FRANCS, a Grade 3 winner over hurdles, couldn't quite handle Monksland on his chasing bow at Gowran last month but that will have done him the power of good and he can go one better. Georges Conn has now had seven starts over fences without winning but his best runs have been with plenty of give in the ground including a cracking effort in the Troytown Handicap last time so he looks certain to go well. Our Vinnie won two Grade 3's over hurdles though that was three years ago and he hasn't been seen since finishing lame at Punchestown in 2013. Sub Lieutenant is a Grade 2 winner over timber and ran well for a long way in the Grade 1 Drinmore here last month while Vedettariat had smart form over hurdles and is by no means Willie Mullins' second string.
