BLACK KEY (NAP) has delivered useful placed efforts in contests won by talented individuals and this looks to offer the de Bromhead inmate an excellent chance to shed the maiden tag. He has shaped well on all three starts this term and has not been beaten far in more than respectable company. He also went well for Dylan Robinson on his latest start when a solid third on his handicap bow and should appreciate the return to maidens. Catwalk King boasts a similar profile without seemingly having reached the form level of the selection but rates the prime threat nevertheless with trip and ground to suit.
