ICARE ALLEN has won three of five starts, his two defeats when coming up against stable companion Vauban in Grade 1 company including in the Triumph Hurdle. He made mistakes when a comfortable winner of a Grade 3 here and a safe round of jumping should see him home. Britzka has also been highly tried and has a course victory to his credit though he finished a long way last in the Fred Winter at Cheltenham. Lunar Power couldn't get close in the Triumph Hurdle but his earlier form entitles him to the greatest respect and he easily beat Britzka on the Flat in October. He also had Iberique Du Seuil almost five lengths behind at Punchestown in October but Garrybello is interesting as he won twice in France and has a cracking pedigree.
