Verdict

This looks a very hot beginners' chase with both Bronn and Gerri Colombe having won their only starts over timber here, the former a Grade 2 in April. The latter is unbeaten in five starts including between the flags while Willie Mullins' also saddles Tenzing, who looked a real staying prospect when scoring over hurdles in the spring. Shantreusse looks a heavy-ground performer so the more rain the better, a remark that also applies for Coqolino, who will have benefited from his run over fences behind Bob Olinger at Gowran a year ago. FREEDOM TO DREAM may just be good enough to upset more fancied rivals here having raced in very strong company over timber last winter and bred to be a better chaser.
