In depth

Verdict

Churchtown Glen may have needed his run at Plumpton but a record of 0-20 over fences is off-putting. Le Tueur is having a first run since May and has switched yards since last seen but would go close in this if reproducing his best form and makes more appeal than Joey Steel, who is less consistent. RELEASE THE KRAKEN is making his debut over fences having failed to win in 10 starts over timber but is a half-brother to a five-times winner over the larger obstacles and this is not a difficult start.
