Verdict

Taameer, whose two victories have been on good going, was beaten a long way on his return on testing ground at the Curragh two weeks ago and is tried in blinkers for the first time. Blue Corner attracted strong support on his debut in a big field at the Curragh in May and duly obliged in impressive fashion. The third home that day, Hay Point, subsequently beat Warwick Avenue over 1m4f here though the latter has since recorded a convincing success over today's trip at the Curragh. There probably isn't much between the pair of them but the form pick has to be AMIRA'S PRINCE. David Wachman's colt, an impressive maiden winner at the Curragh's opening meeting in March, finished a close fourth in the Tattersalls Million at Newmarket and wasn't disgraced behind Sharestan over a mile at the Curragh on his latest start so should be up to winning this back over his best trip.
