RAZOUL (NAP) finished second in a Grade 3 hurdle at Tipperary in the autumn and only need reproduce a fraction of that ability to figure in a race like this. Sharjah is in the veteran stage now but is a course and distance winner and rarely beaten far so also goes on the shortlist. Tronador ran in the Fred Winter at Cheltenham in March and had earlier won a Thurles maiden over timber. He is another to consider along with Ragtime Red, who was kept busy at Dundalk over the winter but held his form well.
